All settings which you carry out in the configuration user interface will be deposit in the servers registry. This can also be changed or saved manually.

 

 

Path

Depending on your operating system, the settings of the Enterprise Server in the registry can be found under the following directory paths:

 

32 Bit Systems

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MATESO\Password Safe Enterprise Server

 

64 Bit Systems

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\MATESO\Password Safe Enterprise Server

 

 

Save the Configuration

Once the Enterprise server is configured, the configuration can be back uped. To do this, export in the registry via a right-click the folder Password Safe Enterprise Server together with all entries.

 

 

Update from Password Safe Version 6 to Password SafeVersion 7

In previous versions, the configuration has been saved in a file with name sds.pc6. Because it´s no longer needed after an update to the Password SafeVersion 7, it will be renamed after the setup wizard in sds.pc6_sav.

 

You can find the configuration files of the version 6 as follows:
