Export/import record

In Password Safe records can be exchanged between different databases. Select the records in the the list and open the context menu (click on the selected record with your right mouse button). Chosse "extras" -> "export" in the context menu to export one or several records. In the export the records will be written into a highly encrypted XML file. You can set the password yourself at the export.

You can import the records by clicking with your right mouse button in the list and choose "extras" -> "import" in the context menu.

Notice:

The user needs the export privilege of the record that an export can be made, furthermore the user needs the general privilege to export records. An import can only be made if the user has the "edit" privilege for the folder and also has the general privilege for record import.
