In the tab "safety" of the "database settings" you can configure the settings for the user login. Here you can configure how should be acted at a wrong password entry.

Lock user after threefold wrong password entry

Users will be locked after a threefold wrong password entry and have to be unlocked via the right management before they can log on the system again.

Activat time-out after threefold wrong password entry

Users will be forced to wait with a time interval after a wrong password entry. This function avoids so called Brute-Force attacks, anyhow the user will never be deactivated or locked after a wrong password entry.

Inform administrators after threefold wrong password entry

If a user enters a wrong password three times the administrator will be informed about it, so the administrator can quickly see if anybody wanted to gain access to the system and can react accordingly.
