Installation

 

After downloading the setup program form the following link, you can start the installation with a double click.

Follow the instructions provided by the installer.

It is recommended that you create a dedicated folder for Password Safe Password Safe Web Access. For the purposes of clarity, we recommend the following folder structure:

 

 

In this example, the Password Safe Password Safe Web Access is installed in the pwa folder, whereby the Server folder is ready for the installation of the Password Safe Enterprise Server.

 

 

Certificate

 

In order to be able to access the Enterprise Server, it must have a trusted certificate. Open the mmc console and under File add the Snap In certificate .

 

 

In the next step, you need to indicate that the snap-in is to be used to manage certificates for the computer account

 

 

You can then start the snap-in directly by double clicking in the mmc console. Navigate to Personal -> Certificates, where you will find the certificate Password Safe Enterprise Server - ... . Click on the certificate with the right mouse button and then select Copy. Now switch to Certificates -> Trusted Root Certification Authorities -> Certificates, where you can add the certificate by clicking the right mouse button.
