Before updating Password Safe Password Safe Web Access, the IIS web server must firstly be stopped. It is sufficient for you to stop the pwa application in the application pool for IIS. Afterwards, start the installation by double clicking on the setup file. Ensure that you select the correct directory in the setup program. The Password Safe Web Access - Setup Assistant will update your installation when complete. Once the update has been completed, start the web server or the application again from the application pool.

 

Ensure here that not only the Password Safe Web Access is updated but also the associated Enterprise Server so that both have the same software version.
