It is recommended that before installing the server to create the folder structure accordingly, and store the files, such as the license file (psr7.lic) into the appropriate folders. The folder structure might look like this:

 

 

Backup

The "local" PSX backups are stored in this folder. These files are created with the help of server-side backup service.

 

Note:

The directory should be archived and monitored (cleaned), to ensure there is always enough space available.

 

Config file Client

In this folder, the configuration file "psr.pc7" can be stored. This file can be used as a "basic" configuration file for deployment. Further information can be found in the client help file.

 

Config file Server

Copy and save the server configuration file "sds.pc6" in this folder. With this file the server can be pre-configured.

 

Database

All database(s) should be stored in this folder.

 

Documentary

Use this Folder to store the help files (Client and Server).

 

Install

Copy the client and server setup files in this folder (exe and msi).

 

License

This folder contains the license file.

 

Network Logon

In the folder Network Logon the profile file is stored. This file can be used for the automatic database configuration.

 

Protocols

In this folder all protocols form the server will be stored. This setting can be changed at the server under "Server options -> Logbook".
