IMPORTANT for users of Version 4!

Back up the old license file "psr.lic" from Version 4 before you activate Version 5. Otherwise it is possible that the old license will be overwritten if the license file is in the same directory.

IMPORTANT for network users!

Only activate the software at one client and afterwards copy the created license file "psr5.lic" to a network share. All other clients can load this license file via the license overview then.

Activation via the software activation assistant

As soon as you have received the license certificate per email you can immediately activate the software via the software activation assistant. At a demo version the assistant starts automatically at the start of the application.

Copy the license certificate from the email to the clipboard. To do so highlight the complete license certificate with the mouse from "-----BEGIN LICENCE CERTIFICATE-----" to "----- END LICENCE CERTIFICATE -----" and choose the menu item "copy" with your right mouse button in the context menu. Alternatively you can also use the hot key CTRL+C.

When the license certificate is in the clipboard you can now start the activation in the assistant. To do so click on "continue" in the first step to start the process.

In the second step choose the point "add license certificate (activate software)" if you own a license certificate. If you have been handed out a license file (e.g. psr5.lic) choose the option "add license file (*.lic)" and afterwards confirm with "continue".

If the license certificate already is in the clipboard it will be pasted in automatically. If the license certificate should not be pasted in automatically you can paste it in via the clipboard. In the below array you can define where the license information should be saved on the hard disk. The license information will be stored in the license file "psr5.lic" and should be considered in your security concept. Afterwards click on "continue" to start the testing.

If the license certificate has passed the testing and is therefore valid you receive the following note. Confirm this note with "Ok". Afterwards you can click on "complete". The application will be restarted automatically afterwards and is activated for full version from that moment on.

If the license certificate will not be accepted, take care that you choose the directory of the license file in a way that writing access is allowed in it. Under Vista you should store the license file in the personal document directory. Normally the suggested memory location is the best choice.

Activation via the license overview

If the software should already be activated and you want to arrange a license extension, it is possible via the license overview.

To do so add the license certificate to the clipboard like described above and afterwards click on "add license certificate".

The license certificate will be displayed automatically if it is in the clipboard. Otherwise no paste it in manually. In the below array you can define where the license information should be saved on the hard disk. The license information will be stored in the license file "psr5.lic" and should be considered in your security concept. Afterwards click on "add" to start the testing.

If the license certificate has passed the testing and is therefore valid you receive an accordant note. Confirm this note with "Ok". Afterwards the data will be updated in the license overview.

Notice! After adding license certificates restart the application, so that all license changes become effective.
