If you require a similar record and only want to do a minimal change you can copy an already existing record and accordingly change it. To copy a record select the accordant record in the list and choose "copy record" in the context menu.

 

 

Afterwards a new record will be started just underneath the copied record, which contains all data and link-ups like the original record. The history and the logbook are not copied because these now only contain the changes of the new record. This record contains the name affix "(copy)". Now you can directly edit the new record.
