Automatic password entry

Password Safe offers several ways of automatic password entry, therefore it is possible to recognise almost all logins and fill them with data.

The automatic password entry can be executed in several ways. Depending on the login you can choose between the following ways to enter in the applications.

Fill in form fields (only Internet Explorer):

You can use this way of entry if you use the Internet Explorer and want to automate a login for a website.

Script for entry sequence:

You can use the script for any kind of entry. With this way of entry a keyboard entry is simulated, so almost every login can be linked-up. If the curser should not stand in the right array in the beginning, you have to tell Password Safe where the entry begins. You can configure this in the application under "settings" -> "automatic entry without request".

Document management (parameter passing):

The document management offers the possibility to control bound programs via parameter passing (prompt parameter). The data will be determined with the linked record.

Hot key (hot key function)

The hot keys offer a range of functions. So you can also automate a login with only one hot key.
